As one of the world's leading thinkers on social change and the founder and CEO of Ashoka, Bill Drayton pioneered the field of social entrepreneurship. Over the past 30 years, Ashoka has elected nearly 3,000 social entrepreneurs as Ashoka Fellows, providing them with stipends, professional support, and access to a global network of peers. In recognition of this achievement, Bill has received numerous honors, including the MacArthur Fellowship and the Essl Social Prize. He is a graduate of Harvard, Oxford, and Yale Universities, and has worked as a management consultant at McKinsey, Assistant Administrator at the EPA, and as a teacher of law and management at Stanford and Harvard.
